You will not be able to participate if you do not attend. You MUST stay until practice is over. All fees and fines must be cleared by Friday, May 25, 2012 at 3:00 pm

TRACK AND FIELD NEWS:
The Track & Field Team took seven athletes to Columbia for the State
Track & Field championships this past weekend. The track team brought home
seven All-State athletes!
Makyla Stanley started things off for us on Friday, by placing fifth in the
long jump, with a jump of 17'7. She then went on to place seventh in the 100m
dash on Saturday, clocking a time of 12.45.
The girls 4x800m relay placed fifth, as well, breaking their own school
record for the third time this season, clocking a 9:48.56. The team consisted
of Sullivan Hamilton, Summer Smith, Emma Dupree, Sam Bergeson, Mary Stewart
Wilson (alt), and Amanda Burroughs (alt).
The marks made by Makyla and the 4x800 team were good enough to make the
All-State team for South Carolina! Additionally, Makyla has made the freshman
A-standard qualification to compete in the National Championships in June! Way to go Trojans!
CHARLESTON COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT PARENT ENGAGEMENT SURVEY

Parents are asked to spend
approximately ten minutes and complete an online parent satisfaction
survey. A similar survey was shared in December 2011 but all
current CCSD parents—whether they completed the last survey or not—are
asked to complete this current version before Friday, May 18.
