Registration is open on Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm when the school is open. Please call 762-2755 to set up an appointment to confirm a guidance counselor for scheduling purposes. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Hotchkiss at 843-762-2759. If coming under the NCLB program, parents must bring documentation and the letter from NCLB showing JICHS as their assignment.

SUMMER CREDIT RECOVERY
June 15, 2009 - July 24, 2009
James Island Charter High School is offering a computer based summer "Credit Recovery" program for students who have failed a course and would like to recover lost credit.

JICHS ROTC: Congratulations to our ROTC cadets in their wonderful showing at Newberry. One of our finest finished 2nd overall in academics out of 139 cadets from the upstate, Alabama and North Carolina.

Students are required to complete the assigned summer reading and accompanying assignments according to the guidelines in the 2009 - 2010 JICHS Program of Studies on pages 23 - 24. Click here to view

ENGLISH I HONORS: Students are required to read at least two books during the summer break. The required reading is A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry, but they may choose the second selection. The second selection must be over 100 pages and may come from any area of interest.
