I am from Columbia, SC. I received a BS in mathematics from the College of Charleston (2002), and also received my master's in math from CofC (2003).
I ran cross country and track for CofC. I currently coach the cross country and track teams at JICHS, and I still enjoy training and racing.
I also enjoy playing various types of music and instruments. My passion is the saxophone! I "dabble" with other instruments, as well. I currently play with the praise band at Fort Johnson Baptist church.
This is my eighth year teaching, and my sixth year at James Island.
